Simone
Speyer, P.T., A.P., D.O.M 
has been
involved in the health care field for
over 20 years and is Certified by the
National Board of Homeopathic Examiners in
Homeopathy. Originally from Montreal, Canada,
she started out as an exercise physiologist
educator. In 1981 she moved from her native
Canada to attend University of Miami in Coral
Gables, Florida, graduating in 1985 with a BS
in Education and a major in Physical Therapy.
She attended the Acupressure Acupuncture
Institute from 1992-1995, graduating with an
Acupuncture Physician's Diploma.
Dr. Speyer has been a
licensed Doctor of Acupuncture in Rhode
Island since 1997. In 1998 Dr. Speyer
returned to the Acupressure Acupuncture
Institute to receive her four year Diploma in
Oriental Medicine. In 1995-1999 she was
co-owner of Global Wellness Center in
Hollywood, Florida. In January of 2000 she
established Natural Health Advantage, Inc
Hollywood, Florida, with an additional office
in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
At present Dr. Speyer has
a thriving practice in Pembroke Pines. Her
focus is on Physical Therapy and
Rehabilitation with the integration of
Eastern Medicine such as Acupuncture, Shiatsu, and ETPS (for pain
management) to offer a variety of methods to
reach the optimal recovery and functional
independence and well being for her patients.
In addition to the above
Dr. Speyer has been educating physical
therapists, physical therapist assistants and
massage therapists on a form of Japanese
Massage called "Shiatsu " since
1988. Her students earn continuing education
units. She is a former instructor at the
Acupressure Acupuncture Institute for Anatomy
& Physiology. She taught electric
stimulation, orthopedic assessment and
documentation to the acupuncture physician
students.

involves additional training and Dr.
Speyer did this to insure that she
had the optimal background or
baseline on which to build a
foundation of Chinese Medical
Practice . Formulas are specific to
each patient and are also discussed
with the patient's Allopathic
(western) medical Dr. to insure there
is no conflict or drug interaction. |
